When we founded Gravity in 2009, our vision was simple: Let’s Personalize the Internet. In 2014, we were acquired by Aol to help bring our technology to their growing customer base. Since the acquisition, Gravity has improved user experience and increased engagement on our owned and operated properties. Personalization will continue to play an important role in our growth, and there is a tremendous opportunity for us to continue being leaders in this area. In order to focus our efforts, we have decided to move out of the native ad world and dedicate all of our efforts - and technology - on what we originally aimed to do: personalize the internet.
Given this strategic realignment, Gravity will double down on personalization - more specifically, the personalization of video, building powerful editorial/analytics tools, enabling developers and platforms to leverage the unique power of Gravity’s interest graph through SDKs, and more.
